Visitor / Tourist Visa

Visitor visas are non immigrant visas for persons who want to enter any country of their choice temporarily for business, pleasure and recreation, sightseeing, casual visits to meet friends, family or relatives, tourism, medical treatment or a combination of above said.There are several steps and prerequisite to apply for a visa application. The order of these steps and requirements and how one completes them may vary country to country. Every country has its own criteria for Visitor Visa.

Australia

Tourist Short Stay Visitor Visa for Australia:(Subclass 600): This particular visa is granted for a period from 3 months to up to 3 years with a maximum stay of 3 months on each entry in Australia. This visa can be granted for single or multiple entries. Visitors travelling on this visa are usually not required to undergo a medical.
Tourist Long Stay Visitor Visa for Australia: (Subclass 600): This visa is usually granted for stay of longer than 3 months; generally granted with a stay of 6 months and can be extended for a period of 12 months. This visa can be granted for single or multiple entries. Visitors travelling on this visa are usually may be required to undergo a medical.

Canada

Canada Tourist Visa allows tourists to visit Canada for the purpose of tourism, leisure and meeting family and friends. A Canada tourist visa is also known as Canada visitor visa or Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). Canada offers two types of visitor visas to international applicants: Single entry tourist visa and multiple entry tourist visa . Single Entry Tourist Visa allows the visa holder to enter Canada just once. After the visa holder leaves Canada, he or she will need a new visa in most cases to enter Canada again. A multiple entry visa allows a visitor to come and go from Canada for six months at a time, without having to reapply each time. The multiple entry visas can be valid for up to 10 year, or one month before the visa holder’s passport expires, whichever happens earlier.

United Kingdom

UK Visitor Visas are required by many foreigners who wish to enter the UK for short stays. Whether you need a visitor visa depends on your nationality, the purpose of your visit and how long you need to stay. The UK Visitor Visa category includes a number of specific visitor visas that allow people to holiday, visit family/friends, study a short course etc.Generally Visitor Visas are valid for 6 months. In some cases, they can be issued for longer periods such as 1, 2, 5 or 10 years. However, those with longer term visas can still only stay in the UK for periods of six months at a time, other than Academic Visitors and parents of children at school.

USA

USA Visitor Visa is a tourist visa to the United States of America. It is also known as B1/ B2 Visa. It is a non-immigrant visa issued to people entering the USA temporarily for pleasure, tourism, or medical treatment or business. Any foreign citizen who wants to visit USA for tourism, visiting with family and friends, business meetings, attending special events like family functions and ceremonies, or for medical treatment may qualify for and can apply for the Tourist Visa. Getting a tourist visa to USA is subject to approval. Each applicant must have a valid passport, submit the online application form, pay the fee, and appear for the tourist visa interview at the nearest applicable US consulate.

Europe

A Schengen visa is a short-stay (type-c) visa that allows a person to travel to any members of the Schengen Area, per stays up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes. The Schengen visa is the most common visa for Europe. It enables its holder to enter, freely travel within, and leave the Schengen zone from any of the Schengen member countries. The Schengen area has 26 member states - Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. There are no border controls within the Schengen Zone.
